GENERAL INFORMATION

Berthing night and day, weather permitting, in open water in the Gulf of Morrosquillo.
A safety inspection onboard on arrival by cargo loading master prior to berthing is compulsory
Manifold connections are on the port side. Ship's derrick/crane required for hoisting hoses.
Tankers are required to be inert (Less than 8% oxygen) and are checked prior to loading.
Water Density 1015-1025, Depending on state of Sinu River which empties into the gulf.
No facilities for accepting dirty ballast or slops so vessels must arrive with clean ballast
Fresh water not available locally but could in an emergency be barged from Cartagena
