Situated on the pacific coast in tumaco bay, near the border with ecuador, smaller vessels enter the harbour whilst the larger tankers use the offshore berth. |
| CURRENT DRAFT Low tide: 3.20 mtrs
High tide: 5.70 mtrs PILOT ASSISTANCECompulsory. For the tumaco terminal, which is operated by the colombian port authority; the pilot boards at sea buoy no. 1, in lat 01º51.8´n, long 078º48.6´w.
| NUMBER OF BERTHS One berth available to load this type of cargo. 200 mtrs available.
| NUMBER AND SIZE OF SHORE CONNECTIONS For cpo:
- 2 hoses with 6 feet e/a - load rate abt 130 mt per hour e/a
For cpko:
- 1 or hoses with 3 feet e/a from tank truck to the vessel directly.
There are not taxes for vessel, cargo or freight.
